(RTTNews) - Radiopharm Theranostics (RADX), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing oncology radiopharmaceuticals, announced encouraging results from its Phase 1 imaging trial of RAD301 in patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.

The study demonstrated a favorable safety profile and biodistribution across all participants. Imaging data showed significant and selective tumor uptake of RAD301 in Pancreatic cancer metastases, with low background uptake in organs such as the liver, lung, and bowel—areas where pancreatic cancer often spreads. These results support RAD301's potential to distinguish metastatic lesions from surrounding normal tissue.

RAD301 is a peptide-based molecule bound to Gallium-68 (Ga-68) that targets alpha-v beta-6-integrin, a receptor highly expressed on pancreatic carcinoma cells and associated with tumor invasion and poor survival. The therapy has previously received Orphan Drug Designation from the FDA.

Riccardo Canevari, CEO and Managing Director of Radiopharm, stated that these findings mark an important step forward for patients with advanced pancreatic cancer, highlighting RAD301's potential role in improving disease detection, patient selection, and future theranostic applications.

The company plans to advance RAD301 into Phase 2 development, aiming to build on these results and explore its role in both diagnostic imaging and therapeutic applications for pancreatic cancer.

RADX has trading at $2.04 and $16.25 over the past year. The stock closed Tuesday's trading at $2.12, up 1.92%. In pre-market trading the stock is at $2.20, up 3.77%
