XRP is trading at $1.27, down 10% over 24 hours and 11.2% over the past week, following a decline that broke a key technical support level chart watchers had been monitoring for weeks.

Today’s drop lands directly ahead of the Federal Reserve’s rate announcement, expected around 2:00 PM ET, with markets pricing in a roughly 93% probability of a quarter-point hike. The bigger swing for markets may come not from the hike itself, but from how Fed Chair Kevin Warsh frames the path forward in his press conference shortly after.

XRP has broken below a level that invalidates the pattern experts had been tracking toward a possible run to $1.78. According to Casi Trades, this confirms what she’s been warning for weeks, until XRP can break above $1.65 and hold that level as support, lower price targets remain fully in play.

Three Levels To Watch, Nothing Else Matters Much Right Now

The analyst is focused on three specific price zones and treating everything else as noise. The first is around $1.10. She sees strong technical support there, and holding it would keep the door open for a bigger move back above $2 later.

The second is $0.87. She has a buy order placed near $0.94 as a safety cushion rather than trying to catch the exact bottom. Hitting $0.87 wouldn’t ruin the bigger bullish picture, but it would mean the recovery takes longer than expected.

The third is more bullish. If XRP can break above $1.65, hold it, and push to $1.78, the case for dropping to those lower levels becomes much less likely.

Casi Trades says $1.10 is the most important level to watch right now. If XRP is truly starting a fresh upward move, this is where it needs to prove it. Until then, she’s keeping $0.87 on the table as a real possibility, not ruling it out. Today’s Fed decision could end up being the deciding factor in which of these paths XRP actually takes.
