(RTTNews) - Frasers Group plc (FRAS.L) said its current intention is to further increase its interest in HUGO BOSS (BOSS.DE), including through the potential acquisition of additional HUGO BOSS shares, with the objective of taking an interest in excess of 50.00% of the share capital and voting rights of HUGO BOSS. Frasers may also continue to acquire or dispose of investments in HUGO BOSS. Frasers noted that it is currently reviewing whether it continues to support Stephan Sturm in his position as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HUGO BOSS.

On 18 August 2026, Frasers said, following the expiry of the acceptance period for its voluntary public takeover offer to acquire all of the ordinary no-par value registered shares in HUGO BOSS not directly held by Frasers, Frasers' direct shareholding in HUGO BOSS had increased to 47.89% of the share capital and voting rights of HUGO BOSS.

At last close on Xetra exchange, HUGO BOSS shares were trading at 38.65 euros.
